Lis Wehl, born August 19, 1961 in the US, is an author and former legal expert for Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor in Law in New York Law School and was previously an Associate Professor at University of Washington Law School. The analyst was a lawyer for the National Public Radio's radio program and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She has been a frequent guest on The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly, The Kelly File with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl, who was born and raised in Yakima in Washington State, matriculated in Yakima from West Valley High School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts at Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) as well as an JD from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She was an NPR legal reporter. All Things Considered. She served as "the assistant chief investigator of Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee at the period of the impeachment of President Clinton." She worked as a law professor with tenure in the University of Washington School of Law Seattle between 1995 and 2001. Wiehl was a Fox News legal analyst from 2001-2017.
