Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a performer, singer, actress and musician. She works primarily as musician and performer for Tamil and Malayalam-language films. Annayum's Rasoolum, her Malayalam and Tamil debut. She debuted in Tamil alongside Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah was born in an Anglo-Indian family living in the Arakkonam region of In Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father works as a solicitor with the Madras High Court. Her mother is the older daughter of a research assistant Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah grew up close to Chennai she attended National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to begin studying piano when she was eight. She was an avid enthusiast who aspired to become a psychiatrist. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style ensemble she joined around the age of 10, established her foundation in early music and singing. At her college days, she also was an actor and appeared in a variety of stage shows put on by The Madras Players. She was also an EVAM Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea's theatre career began by performing with actor Girishkarnad Nagamandala. She appeared in the 2006 leo coffee commercial with Shiva. She also appeared in an episode that was telecast on Podhigai. She has performed all over India. She played a brief role at the end in Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham Menon enlisted Andrea perform the role of a leading character after she performed in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. This film was a film adaptation of the novel by James Siegel Derailed. It featured Andrea as Kalyani who is a housewife whose husband is involved in an affair which leads to her being forced to confess. Andrea was selected for the part after the actresses Simran Shabana as well as Tabu were offered the role. The film premiered in the early 2010s. It was first released in Venkat's Mankatha in the year 2011, which featured a variety of actors. Annayum Rasoolum was a romantic film directed by Rajeeev Ravi, which was released in 2013, was the actress's Malayalam debut.
